Vaduz Classic
Long-term commitment of Dr. Marco Felder and FS+P to Vaduz Classic
The renowned open-air classical music festival takes place annually on Vaduz's Town Hall Square. Numerous internationally acclaimed artists from the world of classical music and beyond have performed at Vaduz Classic over the years.
The festival regularly attracts world-class stars, renowned orchestras, and promising young talents. Among them are names such as Italian star tenor Andrea Bocelli, world-renowned soprano Anna Netrebko, and tenor Yusif Eyvazov. Violinist David Garrett and Nigel Kennedy, known as a rebel among classical violinists, have also performed there. Other outstanding soloists have included tenor Jonas Kaufmann, Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez, and cellist Kian Soltani.
The Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra is a central part of the festival and regularly performs with various soloists and conductors. In the past, conductors such as Yaron Traub and Kevin Griffiths have led the orchestra. The Basel Chamber Orchestra and the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra have also performed there.
In addition to the major names in classical music, Vaduz Classic also offers a platform for young international stars and crossover projects. For example, percussionist Vivi Vassileva and pianist Hanna Shybayeva have performed. The Ensemble Philharmonix, consisting of members of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras, caused a sensation with its innovative arrangements. Artists from the region and musicians who integrate genres such as jazz and pop into their classical programs are also regular participants in the festival.
Dr. Marco Felder has been a member of the Vaduz Classic Foundation's Board of Trustees since its inception and the long-time Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vaduz Classic Management Anstalt, the festival's operating company. FS+P has also been a long-time sponsor of Vaduz Classic.
