ITLRN Conference 2022 in Belgrade
The International Tax Law Research and Policy Network (ITLRN) is an international research network bringing together leading academics and practitioners in international tax law. It was founded by leading international tax experts from academia and practice and promotes independent research in international tax law as a basis for informed and substantive discussion.
The first ITLRN conference took place in October 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia, focusing on international tax challenges arising from the increasing mobility of individuals and the workforce driven by digitalisation. The conference addressed key issues in both individual and corporate taxation, including tax residence, employment income, permanent establishment risks, substance requirements and emerging digital-economy topics.
